Hello there my Crafty Friends,
I do hope that you all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Here we are again at the start of another year of crafting adventures and I wonder what this year will have in store for us all, lots of exciting things I hope. I'm determined to make an effort this year to ink up some stamps that have sat unloved and underused in my drawers for far too long. I keep saying that I won't buy any more stamps until I've used all that I've already got but sadly, that's a resolution that I never seem to manage to keep. I'm sure that you all understand where I'm coming from here :) Let's have a show of hands!
Today is the first challenge of the year at Stamping Sensations and our theme this time is 'Cold and Frosty Colours.' We would like to see you using lots of blues, purple and whites but the subject is of your own choosing, so lots of scope there. Here's the card that I've made for this new challenge:
All of the stamps and stencils that I've used today are by Crafty Individuals and the stamps are: CI-209. C-481, CI-478, CI-017
We are generously sponsored this month by 'Sizzix' and we really hope that you'll be able to join us.
I do hope that you'll be able to join us in this month's challenge but please remember that Stamping Sensations is a stamping challenge, so we must see a stamped image as the focal element of your artwork, not just a stamped sentiment or stamping in the background, this means:
Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest.
All the details of our challenge rules can be found here
Please note: If we don't comment on your entry it will be because it doesn't follow our theme to qualify under our rules, or because we are asked to sign in or provide additional data to comment on third part hosts such as Instagram, Flickr or Facebook etc. We really don't want to be rude but we do want to be fair to those who follow the rules.
That's all from me for now, so I'll wish you a happy and peaceful day x

My arm is very upright Sandra and yes I do know exactly where you are coming from.
Loving the rich blend of colours in your background and the white really pops against it and like you find lids very useful. Every time I see an Oxide background it seems hard to believe they only came out a year ago, where would be be without them ?

Wow, Sandra, what a stunning creation! The background details is amazing and I love the effect of the white silhouettes against those gorgeous colours. Everything works perfectly together. I certainly know where you're coming from about the new year resolution! Mine is usually the same, as is the result!
Happy new year,

Gorgeous inky design!
Absolutely stunning Sandra, the colours are gorgeous and I love your composition of stamps, beautifully designed.
I say this about craft purchases too, but sadly I don't stick to it either, but I find I get overwhelmed by all I've got when trying to decide what to use,Kate x
Simply fab Sandra. I have spent almost a week now indexing and re-arranging my stamps in a pathetic attempt to remember what I have got and make sure I use them... well - it seemed like a good idea.....!
A beautiful card Sandra, a super background and lovely frosty colours,

Happy New Year, Sandra! What a stunning card you created! I really love it! I can totally relate to your thoughts about stamps, but the will just isn't strong enough to resist!!! I have decided to make a little room by getting rid of a few stamps instead. I have so many wood mounted ones that I don't use any more. Steve reckons I should have my own stall at Doncaster, lol
Beautiful card Sandra, the colours are gorgeous with the wonderful white embossed stamping xx
I'm afraid my hand is definitely raised too Sandra as I have stamps that have only been used once before and then some new stash arrives which seems to take precedence..lol. This card is beautifully done and I love the white embossing with that pretty mix of blues and purples to make that fabulous scene, and the TH hexagon die works well in the corner. x
Gorgeous card Sandra your Oxide background is lovely and certainly looks frosty

Hi Sandra,
Happy New Year.
What a very wonderful card and your inking is brilliantly created.
Such a gorgeous design too, and I love all the white
heat embossed areas as well.
You always make such stunning creations.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Happy 2018! I have recently got out all of my old wooden stamps which I haven’t used for years, and
I have so many lovely ones I really should use them again! Your lovely card certainly represents our current weather brrrrr !
Beautiful colours! And a beautiful grungy card; love the style! Glad I'm not the only one who struggles with that resolution :) Hugs, Gerrina
Happy New Year Sandra, love all the white stamping and the blues it all looks so lovely and you can just imagine all the trees covered in frost how beautiful, gorgeous as always.
Hugs Babs x
Beautiful card Sandra, love the white embossing and yes, my hands up about the stamps LOL

A bit late to the party here Sandra (sorry!). A beautiful frosty card, love the icy colours and the cold and crispy trees. Yes, I too would love to ink up all those stamps that remain unused but my addiction to crafting is just too advanced and new stamps seem to arrive all the time!!! Lots of love xxxx
My hand is up! Gorgeous card, the white trees are magical against the background.
Totally gorgeous card, once again, as well as the previous ones dear Sandra! (Also pinned teehee).
Well, do you think it is too late for me to enter in the Stamping Sensations challenges with one of my last cards ?...
I think that at least three of them fit well the theme! :D
Please give me your sentiment.
I will not do it if it seems too late or not possible as I wrote a post with several cards and labels too... :)
Hugs again,
Coco x
